  5. Description:
  6.  
  7.     The Space Flight Simulator, version 0.02, allows users to 
  8.     set a number of orbital parameters, then depicts the orbital 
  9.     focus (typically the earth) or the ground track in real-
  10.     time simulation.  The program should work with CGA (very
  11.     poorly), Hercules (tm), EGA, or VGA graphics.  
  12.  
  13. Enhancements to this version:
  14.  
  15.     Version 0.02 introduces (a) a range of user-selectable 
  16.     parameters, including basic orbital parameters and 
  17.     controls over the rate of the screen display; (b) ground-
  18.     track display as well as visual simulation; (c) real-time
  19.     control; and (d) small enhancements, bug fixes, etc.

  21. Running the Program: 
  22.  
  23.     To run the program on computers with CGA, EGA, and VGA 
  24.     graphics, simply type 
  25.  
  26.         sfs
  27.  
  28.     followed by a carriage return.  To run the program on a 
  29.     computer with Hercules graphics, you must first run the
  30.     program "msherc."  The following commands will run the 
  31.     program with Hercules graphics:

  33.         msherc<RET>
  34.         sfs<RET>
  35.  
  36.  
  37.     The program will then allow you to set a number of parameters, 
  38.     for any of which you can simply hit <RETURN> and use a 
  39.     default.

  45.     I'm releasing version 0.02 of the Space Flight Simulator
  46.     as "freeware," that is, it bears my copyright, but you 
  47.     are welcome to copy it freely and use it as you please, 
  48.     as long as you don't use it commercially and don't 
  49.     remove the copyright notices from it.
